New Long Wheelbase BMW X3 to Launch in February

Recently, we obtained information from relevant sources indicating that the new generation of the long-wheelbase BMW X3 is set to be launched in February, with some features already revealed. Since BMW launched the first generation X3 in 2003, this model has become a benchmark in the global luxury SUV market due to its precise handling. The introduction of this long-wheelbase version will further strengthen the luxury mid-size SUV segment, which includes well-known competitors from top brands.

In the competitive landscape, the new BMW X3 L will compete against models such as the GLC L from Mercedes-Benz and the Q5 L from Audi. The long-wheelbase variant measures 4865mm long, 1920mm wide, and 1664mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2975mm. Comparatively, the GLC L has dimensions of 2973mm, and the Q5 L measures 2907mm.

The X3 L’s interior features advanced technologies including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an updated infotainment system, and enhanced connectivity with support for 5G. Notable is the integration of a large central display and high-quality materials throughout the cabin.

The BMW X3 will offer a variety of powertrains, including a 2.0T engine delivering an output of 190hp and 258Nm of torque. Consumers can expect models such as the xDrive25L and xDrive30L with potential hybrid variants to enhance performance and efficiency.
